What Can I Do?
There are several things that you can do that will let your opinion be
heard with regards to Wind Power Development.
- Attend town board meetings and town planning and zoning board meetings.
Let your boards know where you stand and back up what you say with real
information.
- Write state and federal legislators. This includes state assembly
members, state senators, governors, senators and members of congress.
When writing to these people, it helps to ask for something specific
and realistic. Also, since an individual holds very little political
clout in this country, get in touch with people that the legislators
do listen to, such as groups and organizations.
- Join our email campaign. This will be up on the site soon and when
it is, there will be a link on the left side. Please check back in a
week or two for this feature.
- Join the forums on this web site. They will be
publicly available and some of the comments and discussions may be presented
to town boards.
